MELTEM is a law firm dedicated to the resolution of commercial disputes which proposes a global approach to litigation risk.
Prevention of disputes : MELTEM assists its clients in the prevention of litigation risks, through the drafting, review and management of contractual documents and relationships, in particular in relation to international contracts.
Management of litigation : In all disputes handled by the firm, MELTEM establishes the best litigation strategy in close dialogue with its clients, in order to defend their best interests.
MELTEM’s activity covers all risks associated with business practice, regularly representing clients before judicial courts in civil, commercial and criminal matters as well as in the context of arbitration proceedings, both in relation to commercial and investment disputes.
Negotiation / Mediation / Settlement : With its global approach, MELTEM is able to assess the opportunity of a potential settlement which would be favourable to its clients, and assists them throughout the context of negotiations and mediation proceedings.

- In the context of disputes between commercial agents and their principal: acting alternatively as Counsel for commercial agents, with the aim of obtaining compensation for breach of contract or as Counsel for a principal to anticipate and limit the effects of the breach;
- Assisting a photographer in obtaining compensation from a high fashion house for unlawful termination of contract;
- Assisting a consultancy firm against the unfair conduct of a former employee and a competitor (seizure of documents and request for compensation);
- Assisting a leading multinational company in the energy and automation sectors in relation to litigation and pre-litigation in France;
- Assisting a Spanish company in the renewable energy sector in relation to a customs clearance dispute in France;
